Baptist Medical & Dental Mission International exists under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor.
They Meet Spiritual Needs…
For 33 years BMDMI has made Honduras and Nicaragua their mission field, bringing people into relationship with Jesus Christ - the son of God. A personal relationship with Christ is the hope of eternal life and the source of our greatest joy and strength here on earth. No medicine, treatment, education, or any other material thing can fulfill our most pressing inner need - our need to be in touch with God personally.
They Meet Physical Needs...
Their hearts are broken also for the physical needs of the poor. BMDMI volunteers and staff work hard to meet those needs as resources allow them to. It truly is a labor of love...and sweat!
They Look Forward...
The Lord has blessed BMDMI’s mission work in Honduras and Nicaragua in so many ways. Since 1974, they have planted more than 120 indigenous churches, witnessed more than 100,000 accept Christ as their Savior, and treated more than one million people free of charge. With God's help, BMDMI hopes to take medical, dental, and evangelistic teams to developing nations around the world. They also envision one day reaching even more through Christian broadcasting, permanent hospitals, and other benevolent services. Regardless of the services BMDMI may establish, they are dedicated to maintaining the visions and priorities which led to the founding of BMDMI more than three decades ago. They will continue to reach out in love to people who need the Lord and a healing touch.
